The music ministry is looking to expand the praise
band, with the hope of locating additional vocalists
and instrumentalists. Our short term goal is to have
two full praise teams. Therefore, we are scheduling a
listening session for interested musicians. Here are
the specifics:
1. Praise Band Survey – must be completed. Allows you
to specify your spiritual condition and readiness to
participate as a leader in worship. Available from
Phil via email (prussom@yahoo.com), or ask in person
on a Sunday. Turn in before or as you arrive for the
listening session.
2. Time – Schedule a time for a listening session with Phil.
3. The music that will be used will be emailed to you.
Come to the listening session ready to participate
with the group - no solos, unless you just really want
to!
o Vocalists – you will sing with other vocalists, and
with a band.
o Instrumentalists – you will play with
the band and may be asked to play solo for a section.
Bring your instrument. Keyboard will be provided.
4. Contact – You will be contacted within one week
after the session.
5. Team Placement – After the session and prayerful
consideration, the Praise Band will be carefully
selected and placed into service.
